To complement our education and training programmes, Nida Trust also runs a number of community initiatives to promote and celebrate excellence in the Muslim community.

The main aims of Nida Trust’s community programmes are:

1. To celebrate the achievements and excellence of Muslims in the British Community

i. Raises the confidence of the Muslim community, increasing productivity and selfesteem

2. To encourage a cohesive society by bringing together communities of different cultural and religious backgrounds

Over the past two years Nida Trust has fulfilled these aims with a number of events.

Muslim Education Fair

Every three years, Nida Trust’s Muslim Education Fair brings together the Muslim educational community in Britain. Our last fair in 2016 saw over 3000 visitors enjoy networking, discussing and discovering over 55 stalls that represented a huge variety of educational institutions, businesses and products. Muslim schools attended, along with Islamic publishers, mainstream universities, educational IT businesses, teacher representative bodies and university student groups. The ‘Learning Café’ also held discussions and presentations where new initiatives were promoted and people had the opportunity to network with fellow professionals and share best practice.
